So it seems anchors are the new craze today. I want to explain WHY I chose an anchor for the band:
The whole saying “I will not sink” does NOT apply here.
1. Anchors sink. That’s the point. They’re made to hold something in place.
2. Everyone sinks and we all have our low points in life.
With that being said, I’ve had a lot of low times in my life which is why an anchor means a lot to me. To me, it represents stability and faith. You’re relying on one object to keep you steady and in one place. An anchor also has a cross located in it and faith is very important to me (even though I’m not very religious).
So overall, it’s stability. It’s following your dreams and finding a good spot to stay in.
Just thought I would clear this up. We are not following a trend. It has meaning. (:
